Tile Travel Muslim Heritage Collection | Wooden Panel Decorative Art
Traditional Islamic designs are my one weakness. I obsess over the old masjids and their timeless architecture. I love being mesmerized by their intricate designs, patterns and colors
Not long ago the world came to including travelling.
Being one with a serious case of wanderlust, I remember being really worried this would never change!
Since I couldn’t go anywhere I started travelling by dreaming, studying and recreating a fraction of these rich Islamic landmarks.
I pray I get to see them in person iA but until then, I'll let these new pieces transport
me in awe of our unmatched muslim culture.
I hope you enjoy these in your home and proudly display your beautiful heritage!
Every panel sold will bring in proceeds to an emergency appeal through Islamic Relief inshAllahkhair.
Thank you!
Calligraphic Tiles On Dome Of The Rock
Closeup of the top of the exterior gate of the Dome of the Rock in Palestine. The gate is adorned with dark and bright blue and white Iznik tilework, showcasing ornamental geometric patterns and Arabic calligraphy. At the center of the tilework, the Arabic phrase "Bismillah" (meaning "In the name of Allah"). Flanking the "Bismillah" inscription on both sides would be the Arabic calligraphy of the phrase Allah Al Taqqi "God is The Everlasting, The Eternal, The Ever-Enduring." This serves as a reminder of the eternal nature and enduring presence of Allah.
