 أَفَلَا يَنظُرُونَ إِلَى الْإِبِلِ كَيْفَ خُلِقَتْ

Then do they not look at the camels— how they are created? [88:17]

Allah the Exalted asks the disbelievers of Makkah to look at the camels and how they are created. Why? Because the camel is an amazing animal. It is a clear manifestation of some verses earlier in the Quran:

سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى o الَّذِي خَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ o وَالَّذِي قَدَّرَ فَهَدَىٰ.

Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, Who created and proportioned and Who destined and [then] guided. [87:1-3]

It is an example of Allah’s amazingly intricate, delicate and beautiful design of creation.

Camels provide milk, meat and skin for textiles.

Camels can bear a huge amount of loads. In fact, you will find mention in the Quran in the time of Yusuf (as) of the phrase ‘camel-load’, i.e. the amount of goods was measured by how much a camel could bear:

And when they opened their baggage, they found their merchandise returned to them. They said, “O our father, what [more] could we desire? This is our merchandise returned to us. And we will obtain supplies for our family and protect our brother and obtain an increase of a camel’s load; that is an easy measurement.” [12:65]

SubhanAllah. No wonder Allah asked us particularly to look at how the camel was created.

The Camel Rope Basket

Step 1: INSPIRATION

STEP 2: DESIGN

STEP 3: FINISHED PRODUCT

The camel is mentioned various times in the Quran and in Ahadith. There are many blessings in this magnificent creature of Allah swt's and has inspired me since I was very small.

It's also very special animal because the Prophet sws would often utilize them and that's in itself is something to appreciate!

This year I've been inspired by the decorated camels from our various muslim regions. Their colours and textiles are so fun and cheerful and I wanted too add this element to our homes for the festive holidays.

Every year my kids get so excited when they see their little prayer corners and Ramadan activity baskets set up.

They know the special time of the year is approaching.

So I've designed this extra sturdy, good quality rope basket with a wide base to use in our Ramadan corner this year. It features a super cute sitting camel with sewn embellishments and trims.

I thought it's something that can be useful for you and your family as well iA. It will be available to purchase as a limited edition item.

Add gifts, activities, books, prayer accessories such as prayer gowns and mats. Later It can alternate into an Eid gift and activity basket.

The best part is that the basket collapses flat so you can store it away easily and will be used year after year for many occasions to come iA.

It's nice to have a coherent theme so I've made sure that the basket matches nicely with other items in my shop

I hope you'll like my new collection that I've designed while considering your suggestions. Thank you!!
